Kawasaki India has introduced the Vulcan S cruiser in a new colour called Pearl Lava Orange. When the bike was launched in December 2017, it was available only in black.
The 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by a fuel-injected 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine with dual overhead camshafts. This motor develops 60bhp of max power and 63Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Kawasaki Vulcan S has an 18-inch front wheel with 120/70 section tyre and a 17-inch rim with a 160/60 tyre at the back.
Deceleration duties are taken care of by a 300mm single disc with dual piston callipers at the front and a 250mm single disc and piston calliper setup at the rear. ABS is a standard fitment on the Vulcan S. Ergo-fit is one of the key features of the Vulcan S, which offers a combination of adjustable components for riders of different stature.
On the occasion, Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said, ‘Vulcan S is a type of motorbike that defines a particular lifestyle. In such products, colour of the motorcycle plays a vital role. The Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour is available only in few countries. So, bringing it to India shows commitment of Kawasaki towards the Indian market.’
While the Vulcan S in black is available for Rs. 5.48 lakh, the new orange one demands a premium and will, therefore, set you back by Rs. 5.58 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings are open and customers can visit the nearest showroom for more details.
