Moto Guzzi MGX-21, V9 Bobber and Roamer Launched

The MGX-21 price starts at Rs 27.78 lakhs while the V9 Bobber and Roamer start at Rs 13.60 lakhs

After showcasing the MGX-21 and the V9 Bobber and Roamer at the 2016 Auto Expo, Moto Guzzi has finally launched them in the Indian market. The V9 in both its avatars, at a starting price of Rs 13.60 lakhs, is the most affordable offering from Moto Guzzi. The MGX-21 flagship can only be purchased on order and carries a sticker price of Rs 27.78 lakhs. All prices ex-showroom Pune. Both these motorcycles have been brought over to Indian shores via the CBU route.

The V9 Roamer is a uniquely designed cruiser that sports a lot of chrome parts. The Bobber on the other hand, sports an identical silhouette but wears an all back theme. At the heart of things though, both these motorcycles sport the same 850cc V-twin unit that makes 55bhp of peak power and 61Nm of max torque. In terms of features the Moto Guzzi V9 comes with two-channel ABS, Moto Guzzi Traction Control (MGTC), immobiliser, USB port, semi-digital instrumentation and a large list of accessories including the Moto Guzzi multimedia platform (MG-MP).

2016 Moto Guzzi MGX21 Flying Fortress m

First showcased at 2014 EICMA, the MGX-21 thanks to its massive proportions intimidating design has earned the epithet ‘Flying Fortress’. This flagship Moto Guzzi comes with a 1,380cc V-twin powerplant that puts out about 96bhp and 121Nm of torque. All of this power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed transmission. In terms of equipment, the MGX-21 comes with a ABS, reaction control, cruise control, Bluetooth, USB and more. The MGX-21 comes washed in black with lots of carbon fibre bits on the mug guards, saddle bags, tan panels and more.

Both these motorcycles add to Moto Guzzi’s product portfolio which also includes Audace, ElDorado, California Touring 1400, California Touring Custom and Griso SE. All the Moto Guzzi offerings are available at exclusive Motoplex outlets currently in Pune, Chennai, Kochi and Hyderabad.
