MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro Limited Edition

MV Agusta, the premium Italian bikemaker, has unveiled the stunning Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, its most recent creation, to the world. The special-edition model is limited to 500 units, and according to several industry reports, most of them have already been purchased by the brand's elite customers. The MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, first shown in concept form at an exclusive dealer event in Milan in 2022, carries an astounding price tag of GBP 61,400 (roughly Rs 65.58 lakh). Notably, it is the first limited-edition model from MV Agusta after being acquired by KTM's parent firm, Pierre Mobility.

The gorgeous supersport features a circular LED headlight surrounded by elegant design lines, naturally flowing from the fender to the tank and the tail section. Additionally, it has winglets on both sides to improve aerodynamics. The distinctive gold-painted star-shaped wheels look amazing, and the 4-tip titanium exhaust system (designed by Akrapovic) beneath the seat serves as a constant reminder that this is an MV Agusta model. Interestingly, the motorcycle has forty-one carbon fibre components, including the chain guard, dashboard support, and full fairing. The stunning paint job in shades of red, gold, and silver perfectly complements the overall look.

Mechanically, the powerful bike is propelled by a 998cc, 16-valve, liquid-cooled inline-four engine, generating 116.5Nm of maximum torque at 11,000rpm and 208bhp of peak power at 13,000rpm. Several internal components like radial titanium valves, forged titanium rods, and DLC-coated (diamond-like carbon) camshafts make this limited-edition model a standout offering from the brand. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.

The Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro has a single-sided swingarm made of aluminium with a trellis frame. A fully adjustable Öhlins 36mm monoshock with 120mm wheel travel and a 43mm inverted fork with 120mm wheel travel make up the suspension system. Furthermore, the stopping power comes from Brembo's twin 320mm front disc radial Stylema callipers and a 220mm rear disc with a 2-piston calliper.
