MV Agusta has unveiled the 2026 Brutale 800 as the latest update in the company’s 800cc lineup. It continues as the entry model in the brand’s naked motorcycle range while marking the final update of the current platform before a new 950cc generation arrives. The 2026 version retains the 798cc triple-cylinder engine and now meets Euro 5+ emission standards. MV Agusta’s decision reflects a period of transition, keeping the existing model active for current riders as the firm prepares for the next phase in its product strategy.

The next-generation model with the new 950cc engine is expected to be launched soon.
The Brutale 800 uses a 798cc three-cylinder engine that develops 111bhp at 11,000rpm and 85Nm at 7,500 rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox equipped with a bidirectional quickshifter, allowing clutchless shifts both up and down. The transmission ensures smooth gear transitions while maintaining consistent power to the rear wheel.

The motorcycle is built on a steel trellis frame, with suspension components supplied by Marzocchi and Sachs. A fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi USD fork manages the front, while a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock operates at the rear. Braking is handled by Brembo M4.32 calipers with 320 mm twin front discs and a 220 mm rear disc. The model uses 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Bridgestone S22 tyres and a single-sided swingarm that remains consistent with previous Brutale versions.
For 2026, the motorcycle gains a major electronics upgrade centred around a six-axis IMU. The system introduces cornering traction control, cornering ABS, and rear-wheel lift control. Four riding modes (Rain, Sport, Race, and Custom), allow riders to adjust performance parameters according to conditions. A 5.5-inch TFT display supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cruise control, bringing added convenience and connectivity. These updates enhance functionality without changing the familiar riding setup.
