Ducati-Panigale-V4-Teaser

Ducati India has revealed an exciting teaser for the upcoming Panigale V4, generating buzz ahead of its highly awaited nationwide launch. This flagship superbike, renowned for its stunning aesthetics and track-inspired performance, promises to set a new benchmark in the premium motorcycle segment. At its core is a powerful 1,103cc Stradale four-cylinder engine, capable of delivering an adrenaline-pumping 214bhp of maximum power at 13,500rpm and 120Nm of peak torque at 11,250rpm. To further enhance performance, Ducati has equipped the bike with a sophisticated cooling system featuring oil and water radiators, alongside a six-speed gearbox with a quick-shifter for seamless gear changes. Expected to be priced between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom), the Panigale V4 is poised to captivate enthusiasts nationwide. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.

New Ducati Panigale V4: Styling

The latest Panigale V4 takes cues from the Ducati 916, blending iconic design with cutting-edge aerodynamic and ergonomic features inspired by Ducati's MotoGP bikes. The front end has undergone the most noticeable redesign, incorporating previous elements like front wings, V-shaped DRLs, and LED headlights, all subtly reworked to complement the overall aesthetics. Additionally, the revamped radiator and front mudguard help optimize airflow for better engine cooling.

On the sides, the bike now features a more horizontally aligned profile compared to its predecessor, resulting in ergonomic changes that enhance rider control. The redesigned seat and tank improve comfort and support during cornering, while the footrests have been shifted inward by 10mm. The rear sees significant changes too, especially with the introduction of a new double-sided swingarm, which is more about enhancing aerodynamics than aesthetics. The tail is now wider and longer for improved stability.

New Ducati Panigale V4: Features and Electronic Aids

The 2025 iteration of the Panigale V4 is equipped with an extensive range of advanced electronic systems, including Slide Control, updated Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, Ducati Traction Control (DVO), Engine Brake Control, Wheelie Control (DVO), and Power Launch (DVO). This refined quick-shifter enhances shifting precision while reducing the effort and travel required for gear changes.

A key innovation is the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), a sophisticated setup that utilises more than seventy sensors to monitor real-time load distribution and forces acting on the bike. By processing data from the IMU inertial platform, the system ensures optimised handling and stability. The bike also debuts a modern 6.9-inch display with 'Optical Bonding' technology, providing excellent visibility across all lighting conditions. Its track-oriented interface displays critical data, including G-forces, lean angles, and power and torque outputs. Moreover, the bike offers four power modes: Low, Medium, High, and Full.

New Ducati Panigale V4: Hardware Setup

The 2025 Panigale V4’s hardware has been upgraded with a “Front Frame” that reduces lateral stiffness by 40 per cent, while keeping its longitudinal stiffness intact. The new design also swaps out the single-sided swingarm for a more robust, hollow double-sided symmetrical version.

As far as suspension is concerned, the V4 is equipped with an Ohlins NPX-30 pressurised fork at the front as well as a TTX36 monoshock at the back, offering top-tier handling and stability. The braking system features Brembo Hypure callipers, which grip dual front discs, while a single disc is used at the rear for effective braking performance.
