The highly anticipated Apache RTR 310 is one of the vehicles that TVS Motor Company will expectedly launch in India around the festive season. This future motorcycle is a naked version of the fully-faired Apache RR 310. Even though the two-wheeler manufacturer has kept the information secret, ongoing market reports suggest that the TVS model will debut in the nation around the holiday season. A few days ago, spy photos of the upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 motorcycle surfaced online, giving viewers a better picture of the vehicle. As shown in the spy photos, the new RTR 310 has a more straightforward style with a sculpted tail section. The automaker has removed the fairing from the RR 310 to make it a naked street bike. Here are all the potential specs and features that the forthcoming TVS model might flaunt upon launch in India.
New Apache RTR 310: Design
As demonstrated in the previous spy images, the upcoming bike has a flat, single-piece handlebar, unlike the Apache RR 310. It also receives an instrument cluster, different from the vertically mounted unit one on its fully faired sibling. At the back, the bike, according to the spy shots, has a twin-pod taillight design. The rear part features a noticeable tyre hugger that houses the number plate and LED turn indicators.
New Apache RTR 310: Features
The forthcoming TVS Apache RTR 310, like the Apache RR 310, will have full-LED lighting, according to previously leaked photos. Other notable features will likely be an LED headlamp, a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display, LED turn signals, an LED taillight, a dual-channel ABS, and more.
New Apache RTR 310: Engine
The Apache RTR 310 will reportedly share its underpinnings with the current RR 310 and therefore built on the same trellis frame. It is likely to be propelled by the same 312.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the fully-faired model, capable of churning out 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm. There is no official update, but industry reports reveal that TVS may experiment with gear ratios and perform engine adjustments to better suit the motorcycle's naked-street style.
New Apache RTR 310: India Launch
TVS Motor Company hasn't revealed anything yet, but market speculations hint that the new model may arrive in the nation by the end of 2023 or starting in 2024. In terms of price, it is expected to fetch an asking price lower than its fully-faired counterpart, which is priced at approximately Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
