Classic Legends is preparing to launch a new Yezdi motorcycle in India on April 23, 2026. While there are no exact details on the bike yet, speculation is rife that the long-awaited update for the Yezdi Scrambler is finally on the way. The Scrambler has remained largely unchanged since its 2022 debut, unlike the Adventure and Roadster, which have received consistent updates over the years. This makes the Scrambler due for a significant refresh, and we expect Classic Legends to address this with the upcoming launch. Here’s what you can expect.
Yezdi Motorcycles last updated the Scrambler in May 2023 with minor performance tweaks, but a more significant upgrade now seems to be on the horizon. The upcoming update could introduce an all-new, more powerful Scrambler 650, positioned as a larger sibling to the existing model. While it is expected to carry forward some design elements, the new bike will likely be a completely new offering. It is expected to use a 652cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, found on the Gold Star 650, also sold under the Classic Legends Umbrella in India) which produces 44bhp at 6,500rpm and 55Nm at 4,000rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The existing Yezdi Scrambler is expected to continue with its Alpha 2 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. However, the upcoming update could add some noticeable and meaningful upgrades. As seen on the multiple sightings of test mules, the bike could get a reworked rear suspension and minor cosmetic changes in terms of new graphics and colours.
Although there is no official word from Classic Legends on the Yezdi Scrambler 650, the upcoming model is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 3.30 lakh to Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom). If launched at this price, it will go up against the Royal Enfield Bear 650.
