Odysse Snap High-speed, E2 Low-speed Electric Scooters Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs 69,999

Odysse Electric Vehicles, a Mumbai-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched its two new scooters – Snap high-speed and E2 low-speed. The former is priced at Rs 79,999, whereas the latter carries a price tag of Rs 69,999. The prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai. 

Powering the Snap high-speed electric scooter is a 3bhp (2kW) electric motor, which has a top speed of 60km/h. The motor boasts an IP67 rating for water resistance, and is coupled with an AIS 156-approved Lithium-ion battery. The latter, which is claimed to be fireproof, long-lasting, and simple to maintain, offers a range of 105km on a single charge. Claimed charging time for the smart battery is less than 4 hours. Features-wise, the high-speed electric scooter offers cruise control and a CAN-enabled display for exact battery level monitoring and distance-to-empty calculations.

Meanwhile, the E2 low-speed electric scooter uses a 0.3bhp (0.25kW) electric motor with a maximum speed of 25km/h. While the charging time is the same as the Snap high-speed, the low-speed scooter yields a claimed range of 70km on a single charge. Notably, the E2 can be ridden without a driving license.

Odysse's Lineup

In India, Odysse Electric retails the Racer Lite V2, Racer Lite V2 Plus, E2GO Graphene, E2go Lite, E2go Plus, E2go Pro, Hawk Plus, and Trot scooters, as well as Evoqis and Vader motorcycles. Launched in April 2023, the Odysse Vader is the first electric bike in the country to feature a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with Android Display and Google Map navigation. It is priced at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
