Ola became the first Indian EV maker to hit the milestone with the Ola S1.

The Ola S1 has seen an enormous surge in sales, given the strong overall package it offers to Indian consumers. Ola Electric has managed to make it big in the month of October, as it sold 20,000 units of the Ola S1. This huge figure has not been achieved so far by any EV manufacturer to date. Let’s look at the possible reasons that may have helped the company in attaining this milestone.

Ola Electric has rolled out the S1 series in India at a competitive price structure. The e-scooter has become a huge success not only because of its green credentials but also because of its performance. Although the company initially faced a backlash because of quality and delivery issues, it came up stronger by rolling out MoveOS 2.0. The company further made improvements in bettering charging capacity and also announced an extended warranty plan, including for the battery, which might have helped the scooter's sales number.

The high affordability of the S1 Air and the value-added features of MoveOS 3.0, including ‘Moods’ themes, could be other reasons that increased its sale. Ola Electric is steadily climbing up in terms of sales growth by offering an overall hassle-free customer experience to users. The company is making a shift from an all-online-no-dealership model to establishing Ola Experience Centers in diversified cities across the nation. Also, the firm is continually bringing forth attractive deals for buyers.
