MoveOS 04 Software

A new update for Ola Electric's S1 line of electric scooters was recently announced. The manufacturer has also rolled out the new MoveOS software together with the new electric scooters. The MoveOS 4 is going to introduce a host of new features in its fourth edition. One such feature, called Concert mode, is an extension of MoveOS 3's Party mode. When in Party mode, the electric scooter's lights synchronise with the music being played through the scooters. The features will be available starting today, according to the Bengaluru-based brand's social media accounts.

But not only that. Ola Electric has also upgraded the scooter's moods. Essentially, moods are various computer display home screens. Depending on the setting the rider has chosen, the scooter alters the acceleration sound. There are currently three available mood selections comprising light, dark, and auto choices. The OS3 software, which includes a variety of other features such as music control, call, and SMS notifications, and themes, among others, is currently installed on all Ola S1 scooters. Along with the Move OS4 update, Ola has incorporated the final versions of the proximity lock/unlock and hill hold for the S1 e-scooter.
