Touted as India's first AI-enabled electric motorcycle, the Revolt RV400 will be aimed at youngsters and college goers. The motorcycle will have a range of 156km, and will come with a raft of connectivity features. The Revolt RV400 will go on sale in July 2019, and bookings will open on June 25.

Gurugram based electric bike start-up, Revolt Intellicorp, has finally revealed their first product for the Indian market. Called the RV400, the new electric bike is aimed at college goers and will flaunt a number of connectivity features, as well as offer a sporty riding experience. The price of the motorcycle hasn’t been announced as yet, but the market launch is expected to take place sometime in July 2019.

There’s no denying that the RV400 is a pretty stylish motorcycle, however, apart from its exterior design, Revolt is keeping all the details of the motorcycle close to their chest at the moment, which means the specs and battery details aren’t out yet. That said, the company claims that it has a range of 156km (ARAI certified) and that the battery pack can be charged in 4 hours, using the usual 15-ampere socket at your home or office. There will also be Revolt mobile swap stations – simply put, this will allow you to order a fully-charged replaceable battery and swap it with the bike’s drained battery at any location using the mobile app.

Among some of the main highlights, the Revolt will have a number of interesting features such as Bluetooth start/stop function, faux exhaust noise – with multiple exhaust notes – onboard diagnostics tool, geo-fencing tool for anti-theft, over-the-air ECU updates, et al. The electric motorcycle will be offered in two colour options – Rebel Red and Cosmic Black.

In the initial phase, the Revolt RV400 will be sold in Delhi, and prospective customers can book the motorcycle for Rs 1,000 on June 25 through the company’s official website, or at Amazon.in. In the next four months, Revolt will expand their operations in NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai.
