Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the Flying Flea C6 in India, marking the introduction of its newly established Flying Flea sub-brand. In collaboration with Spanish electric motorcycle manufacturer Stark Future SL, the company is developing an entirely new lineup of electric bikes. The C6, also referred to as the FF.C6, is the first model in this series and is built on the newly developed “L” platform, which will also serve as the foundation for Royal Enfield’s future electric motorcycles. This modern electric bike draws significant design influence from the original Flying Flea, a historic model in the brand’s lineup. Scheduled for launch in 2026, the Flying Flea C6 will likely carry a price tag of approximately Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Following its release, Royal Enfield plans to expand the Flying Flea range with additional models, including the S6 scrambler and potentially an electric variant of the Himalayan.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Design

The Flying Flea C6 embraces a distinctive vintage roadster aesthetic reminiscent of its World War II-era predecessor. It features a classic round LED headlamp accompanied by matching circular LED indicators, enhancing its retro appeal. A standout design element is the girder fork, a rarity in contemporary motorcycles.

The bike sports a compact, teardrop-shaped tank as well as a sculpted single-piece seat, with an option to attach a rear seat in a fashion similar to the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The battery pack is neatly housed beneath the tank and incorporates cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation. The rear section of the motorcycle maintains a sleek and minimalistic look, sporting integrated indicators, a reinforced rear fender, and a fender-mounted taillight.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Features and Tech

On the technology front, the Flying Flea C6 comes with a 3.5-inch TFT instrument panel that provides essential riding data, including speed, battery charge status, range, odometer readings, and trip meter. A Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor powers the console, providing support for 4G, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity. Additional features include lean-sensitive ABS, multiple riding modes, cruise control, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, keyless ignition, and traction control. An emergency safety switch is also conveniently placed on the tank for added security.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Technical Details and Hardware

While the exact specifications of the bike’s battery and electric motor have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that the battery will be housed in a magnesium casing and feature a belt-driven system. The Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle is expected to offer an approximate range of 100 km. Moreover, the company plans to keep its weight close to 100 kg.

For performance and handling, the motorcycle is equipped with a suspension setup that includes a girder fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by disc brakes on both wheels, likely with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
