Special edition DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 launched at Rs 2.94 lakh

100 special edition variants of the DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 are now available in three new colour options.

DSK Hyosung has introduced a special edition version of the Aquila 250 cruiser motorcycle in India. Limited to just 100 units, the new version will be available in three new colour options, namely – Matte Green, Carbon Black and Desert Brown. The Aquila 250 Limited Edition variants are priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Apart from the new colour options, the limited edition Aquila 250 is mechanically unchanged from the standard model. It comes fitted with a 249cc V-twin engine that develops 26.2bhp and 21.4Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. At the front, the cruiser has upside down forks while it comes with dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking force comes from a disc brake on the front wheel while a drum does duty at the rear. The motorcycle weighs 179kg and has a 14-litre fuel tank.

The standard Aquila 250 continues to be offered in black, red and blue colours. For sale in the domestic market, DSK Hyosung assembles the Aquila 250 at the firm’s CKD plant in Maharashtra. In addition to the Aquila 250, the DSK Hyosung range in India comprises five more motorcycles, namely – GT250R, GT650R, GT650N, Aquila Pro and ST7.
