Suzuki e-Burgman Electric Scooter Details Revealed Ahead of India Launch

A set of fresh details regarding the Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter are surfacing on the internet ahead of its launch in India. The new e-scooter will be based on its petrol-based sibling in terms of the appearance.

A few details of the Suzuki e-Burgman have been revealed ahead of its launch in India. The new e-scooter will be based on the existing petrol-powered Suzuki Burgman Street in terms of appearance. The upcoming EV is in its testing period and therefore has been captured undergoing the same several times. The e-scooter will weigh approx 147Kg, according to industry reports. It will weigh 36 kg more than the Suzuki Burgman Street EX model. Further, it will 28Kg heavier than the TVS iQube S. Its seat height is the same as the two currently available Burgman models at 780mm. As mentioned, the Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter is currently in its testing stage. Industry reports suggest that the new e-scooter will soon progress toward production. Right now, there is no information about the brand, but we believe it will soon announce its launch in our market.

Suzuki e-Burgman: Mechanical & Dimension Specifications 

According to industry reports, the automaker will introduce the e-scooter with an AC synchronous electric motor. It will deliver a maximum power output of 5.36bhp and 18Nm. Moreover, the lithium-ion battery pack will allow the electric scooter to have a driving range of 44 Kilometre on a single charge when driven at a speed of 60km/h. Reports further hint that dimensionally the e-scooter will be 765mm in width, 1,825mm in length, and 1,140mm in height. Moreover, it will weigh around 147 kg. 

Suzuki e-Burgman: Appearance

Appearance-wise, the new e-scooter will follow its petrol-based version. The model will likely feature the same swanky maxi-style framework, including a sporty fascia with butch side panels. It could also sport similar hardware components, including the telescopic front forks and a front disc brake setup as the petrol-powered model. The e-scooter is expected to get rear shocks because the weight has been modified in this vehicle due to the inclusion of the electric motor and battery.

Suzuki e-Burgman: Market Rivals & Price 

The new Suzuki e-Burgman will lock horns with the Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube in India. In terms of price, there is no update as of now. However, we believe that more details will soon emerge closer to the launch date.
