Suzuki Slashes Inazuma Price by 1 Lakh

Suzuki Motorcycles India has just announced that they will be cutting the price of its 250cc naked motorcycle, the Inazuma, by Rs 1 lakh. When the bike was first launched in the Indian market many bike enthusiasts were put off by its high price tag of Rs 3 lakh ex-showroom Delhi and hence the bike did not claim any sales. However, Suzuki seem to have acknowledged this and are now charging just Rs 2.1 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

The Inazuma is the only motorcycle in its class to have a twin-cylinder 250cc engine that produces 26bhp and 22Nm of torque. Hopefully the reduced price will help the bike gain more attention and Suzuki will be able to sell a few units.
