Triumph has launched the Speed Triple 1200 RX in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 23.07 lakh. To recall, the RX made its global debut in May this year, with production limited to 1,200 units worldwide. The bike has now arrived on our shores as a limited edition. However, the exact number of units for our market is currently undisclosed. The RX is based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, but it has a few upgrades, which make it approximately Rs 1.31 lakh more expensive than the RS. If you are planning to get your hands on this eye-catching limited edition Triumph in India, here's all you need to know about its design and features.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX: Key Highlights

Although the Speed Triple 1200 RX shares much of its electronic suite with the 1200 RS, including cruise control, cornering traction control, five riding modes, and independently adjustable wheelie control, it sets itself apart with key ergonomic upgrades. The RX features lower and more forward-set clip-on handlebars, which help create a noticeably sportier rider triangle. The footpegs have also been repositioned higher and further back to support a more aggressive riding posture. Additionally, the seat has been redesigned to offer more space. Cosmetically, the bike stands out with an appealing neon yellow and black paint scheme, accented by RX graphics.

Triumph has enhanced the Speed Triple 1200 RX’s performance credentials by equipping it with an Akrapovic exhaust and carbon fibre accents as standard. Interestingly, despite these lightweight additions, the RX weighs in at 199 kg, which is 1 kg more than the RS.
