TVS Jupiter Classic Edition 500x261

TVS introduces a special Classic Edition variant to the Jupiter range, priced at Rs 55,266.

TVS has launched a new special edition variant of the Jupiter scooter. Priced at Rs 55,266 (ex-showroom, Delhi) the new variant is billed as the Classic Edition and comes with a new paint scheme along with a couple of new features. As per TVS, the Classic Edition has been introduced to “evoke a sense of timeless reassurance in customers”.

As you can figure out by its name, TVS has tried to give the scooter a bit of a retro touch. This means it gets a windshield, chrome mirrors, new sunlit Ivory body colour, special classic decals, dual-tone seats, silver oak panels, a chrome backrest and other minor cosmetic updates here and there. A USB charger and front disc-brake are standard as well.

The engine remains unchanged, meaning the Jupiter continues to draw power from an 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 7.89bhp at 7,500rpm and 8Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Power is transmitted via a CVT automatic. The scooter also comes standard with SBS (Sync Braking System) that automatically activates the front brake when the rear brake is applied.

Apart from the newly launched Classic Edition, the TVS Jupiter is available in three variants – Standard, ZX and ZX Disc. The standard version is priced at Rs 49,766, the ZX at Rs 52,289 and the ZX Disc at Rs 54,366. All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
