Strong sales of the Victor 110 help push TVS' market share to 8 per cent in the motorcycle segment in India.

In January 2016, TVS relaunched the Victor with a smaller 110cc engine. Dubbed the Victor 110, the motorcycle has now gone on to become a sales hit for the manufacturer. Reportedly, TVS has sold over 1 lakh units of the Victor 110 in the first three quarters of 2016.

As per TVS, the new Victor’s sales have helped push the company’s market share to overall 8 per cent in the motorcycle segment in India. In the next two years, TVS is targeting to attain 10-12 per cent market share and believes the Victor will play significant role.

Commenting on the achieverment, Arun Siddharth, Vice President – Marketing (Motorcycles), TVS Motors said, “We are delighted to have 1 lakh families join us on this journey to spread smiles. It is our endeavor to add more members to the growing family of TVS Victor and we are confident that we will build on the growth momentum.”

Powering the new TVS Victor is a 110cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 9.46bhp @ 8,000rpm and 9.4Nm of peak-torque at 6,000 rpm. Power is transmitted via a 4-speed gearbox. TVS claims the motorcycle can return a mileage of 76km/l!

The Victor 110 is available in two variants- drum and disc. The former is priced at Rs. 50,715 for the while the latter - which we believe is the one to go for – carries a price tag of Rs. 52,715 for. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Victor 110 competes with the recently launched Hero Splendor 110 iSmart and Honda Livo.
