TVS Motor Company has introduced the new TVS Sport ES+ variant in India at Rs 60,881. The bike is now available in three trims: Self Start ES, ES+, and ELS, priced between Rs 59,881 and Rs 71,785. All prices are ex-showroom figures. The entry-level commuter is equipped with an OBD-2B-compliant 109.7cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 8.09bhp of maximum power and 8.7Nm of peak torque, ensuring efficient performance for daily rides. The ES+ variant features an all-gear electric start, a 10-litre fuel tank, and a lightweight design with a kerb weight of 112 kg. With a claimed mileage of 90km/l, it offers cost-effective commuting. Additional features include an analogue instrument cluster, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a comfortable long seat, making it a practical choice for urban riders.
The mid-tier ES+ retains the foundational look of the standard Sport model but receives a visual refresh that enhances its sporty appeal. Striking new body graphics distinguish it from its siblings, while fresh dual-tone colour choices – Grey, Red, and Black Neon – amplify its road presence.

The TVS bike rides on alloy wheels and features telescopic forks at the front with twin shock absorbers at the rear. A notable design addition unique to the ES+ is a robust rear grab rail styled after those seen on larger motorcycles, aimed at improving pillion stability and comfort.
As mentioned, the TVS Sport houses a 109.7cc single-cylinder engine, featuring air cooling and fuel injection, and is mated to a four-speed transmission.

On the sales front, April 2025 proved positive for TVS, with the company registering a 15% increase in total vehicle dispatches. Motorcycles alone saw a 17% boost, with over 2.20 lakh units shipped versus 1.88 lakh units during April last year. Scooters weren’t far behind, posting an 18% rise with about 1.70 lakh units sold.

In the electric mobility space, the TVS iQube remained a standout performer. The company moved 27,684 units of its flagship EV scooter in April – a dramatic 59% surge over the 17,403 units sold in the same month last year, securing its place as one of the nation’s top-selling electric two-wheelers.
