With the festival of colours, Holi, around the corner, this has inspired Yamaha to give the  YZF-R15 2.0 two new colour options -- ‘GP Blue’ and ‘Streaking Cyan’. These colours are now available at Yamaha's dealerships across the country.

The new shades will be priced higher than the current colours and is available at Rs 1,17,260 (ex-showroom Delhi). The previous variants like Racing Blue and Invincible Black are priced Rs 1,10,003 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Grid Gold is available at Rs 1,12,924 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Mechanically, Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 remains unchanged and continues to be powered by a 150cc liquid cooled 4 valve engine that pumps out 16.7bhp of power and 15 Nm of torque. It is an open secret that Yamaha is working on R15's next generation model, the R15 3.0, which is slated to make its debut sometime this year.

“Yamaha R15 is a pure sports vehicle designed especially for racing enthusiasts so that they can experience the power and passion that a sports bike has to offer. The racing DNA, sporty look and superior technology have been synonymous with the R15. While, the core concept of R15 remains the same, with these new colors we strive to continuously interact and excite our target audiences,” said Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.
