Ultraviolette has started retail operations in the United Kingdom, bringing its F77 electric motorcycles to British riders through a new partnership with MotoMondo. The company announced the move at the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham, confirming that MotoMondo will manage imports, sales, and aftersales support across the UK and the Benelux region. This expansion follows earlier entries into Germany, France, and Ireland, showing that Ultraviolette is moving step by step into key European markets. The company also displayed the Shockwave, a lightweight electric motorcycle inspired by classic two-stroke machines but designed to meet current standards. Ultraviolette’s UK launch comes as discussions continue on the UK–India Free Trade Agreement, which could support greater cooperation in clean mobility.

The UK range starts with two models: the F77 MACH 2 Recon and the F77 SuperStreet Recon. Both use a 40bhp motor that produces 100Nm of torque and claim a top speed of 155km/h. The MACH 2 offers a forward-leaning riding position aimed at riders who enjoy track-style use, while the SuperStreet provides an upright stance for daily commuting and mixed riding.
A 10.3kWh battery pack supports a claimed range of up to 323km on the IDC test cycle. Both motorcycles run Ultraviolette’s Violette A.I. software, which manages rider data, modes, and diagnostics. Bosch provides the electronic safety systems, including ABS, traction control, dynamic stability control, and ten levels of regenerative braking. Riders can tune the braking feel and energy recovery based on their route.
At the Birmingham show, Ultraviolette also previewed upcoming models, such as the X-47 Crossover and the Tesseract electric scooter. The X-47 uses integrated radar for features like blind spot alerts, lane change assist, overtake warnings, and rear collision alerts. The Tesseract supports urban riders with Omnisense mirrors that combine radar and dashcam functions, a 7-inch screen, and 34 litres of under-seat storage.
