The VLF Mobster 135 scooter has been launched in India with an introductory price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,500 customers. The Mobster 135, brought to India by Motohaus, is VLF's (Velocifero, a renowned Italian two-wheeler brand) first petrol-powered scooter for our market. It has an aggressive design, highlighted by sharp, muscular bodywork, and is offered in four eye-catching colour options: Crimson Override, Ghostlight, Ash Circuit, and Neon Venom. The scooter measures 1,873mm in length, 746mm in width, and 1,120mm in height. It weighs 122 kg (kerb) and has a 1,341 mm wheelbase. Read on for more details.

The scooter has a split-headlamp, a tall visor, angular side panels, a slender taillamp, a single-piece stepped seat, and split-style footrests. It is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts.

Other features include keyless ignition, a USB charging port, and ample under-seat storage that can accommodate a half-face helmet. The VLF Mobster 135 also has dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control. It offers the option to add a dashcam.

The Mobster has a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 12.1bhp at 8,250rpm and 11.7Nm at 6,500rpm, and is mated to an Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT). The top speed stands at 100km/h, while the fuel economy is 46km/l. The suspension components include a telescopic fork and dual gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Stopping power comes from a 230mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.

The scooter has a seat height of 797mm, a ground clearance of 155mm, and a tank capacity of 8 litres.
