Yamaha Motor India has increased the prices of the Aerox 155 and XSR 155 in India. The company says the latest revision is due to rising input and transport costs. Yamaha has been updating prices across its two-wheeler range in recent weeks, and these two 155cc models are among the latest to become more expensive. There are no changes to the engines or features, but buyers planning to bring one home will now have to pay slightly more than before.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 has received a price hike of Rs 2,800 across both variants. The Standard variant is now priced at Rs 1.43 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, while the Version S now costs Rs 1.46 lakh. The Version S continues to offer features like keyless ignition. This is also the second price increase for the Aerox 155 in recent months after Yamaha revised its prices earlier in April 2026.

Despite the latest increase, the Aerox 155 continues to stand out as one of the more sporty scooters in the segment. It is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 15bhp and 13.9Nm of torque. The scooter still offers quick acceleration and smooth highway performance, which makes it popular among riders looking for something more exciting than a regular daily commuter scooter.

The Aerox 155 continues with its maxi-scooter styling and centre spine design, giving it a different look compared to conventional scooters with flat floorboards. Yamaha also offers LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and an automatic start/stop system. In the Indian market, the Aerox 155 competes with the Hero Xoom 160, which is positioned as another premium scooter option in the growing performance scooter segment.
Yamaha has also increased the prices of the XSR 155, although the hike is smaller compared to the Aerox 155. Most colour options are now costlier by Rs 1,000, while the Metallic Blue shade remains unchanged at Rs 1.50 lakh. The Vivid Red colour is now priced at Rs 1.54 lakh, while Metallic Grey costs Rs 1.58 lakh. Metallic Black and Greyish Green Metallic are now priced at Rs 1.60 lakh each from this month onwards. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.

The XSR 155 continues to attract buyers with its retro-inspired styling and sporty riding character. The motorcycle gets a round headlamp, upright riding posture, and clean roadster design that gives it a classic appearance without looking outdated. At the same time, the bike shares its core mechanical setup with the R15 and MT-15, which adds a sporty edge to the overall riding experience.

Powering the XSR 155 is a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. The engine produces 18bhp and 14.2Nm of torque and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle also gets upside-down front forks, rear monoshock suspension, dual-channel ABS, disc brakes at both ends, 17-inch alloy wheels, and Bluetooth connectivity as part of its feature list.
