The updated Skoda Superb continues to be on sale in the Sportline and L&K variants, priced at Rs 31.99 lakh and Rs 34.99 lakh, respectively. The 2021 Superb demands roughly Rs 2 lakh more than before.

Less than a year into the launch of the Superb facelift, Skoda has given it a mild update. The refreshed Superb is now priced at Rs 31.99 lakh for the Sportline variant and Rs 34.99 lakh for the top-end L&K trim, which is roughly Rs 2 lakh more than the 2020 model that was launched in May. For the additional price, the 2021 Superb gets mild cosmetic changes and a longer features list.

On the outside, the Superb continues to feature those familiar elegant lines. The Superb now gets an adaptive front-lighting system, which offers optimum illumination even under varying speed, light, and weather conditions. The headlight also features swivelling and cornering functions. Everything else about the exterior is mostly the same. The interior, however, has a few more noticeable changes. The top-end L&K trim now comes fitted with a two-spoke steering wheel with Laurin and Klement insignia at the bottom – the Sportline trim continues with the three-spoke steering wheel. The 2021 Superb L&K also gets the Virtual Cockpit – a feature that surprisingly was only seen on the Sportline variant so far. Additionally, the Superb L&K now also comes with a 360-degree camera, with park assist.

There has also been a considerable update to the features list of both the variants. Although the Superb continues with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, its interface has been updated. The system now gets an in-built navigation system, which no longer uses an SD card. While the MY20 Superb came with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, its new avatar allows customers to enjoy these features wirelessly. With the 2021 refresh, the Superb also gets wireless charging and Type C USB ports.

Powering the Superb is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill, which pushes out 188bhp and 320Nm and comes paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission.
