2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Variants Explained

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is now on sale in the country. The updates on the new model include a new exterior design, a thoroughly refreshed interior, a host of new features, and connected car tech. As was the case before, there’s no diesel engine on offer, meaning it’s offered with a sole petrol engine option – Suzuki’s 1.5-litre K15C four-cylinder naturally-aspirated motor. The engine develops 101bhp and 137Nm of torque, and a 5-speed manual is standard. As for the automatic version, the 4-speed automatic of the old version is now junked, and a 6-speed automatic, with paddle shifters as standard, is available in its place. Also, if you haven’t already noticed, Maruti Suzuki has dropped ‘Vitara’ from its name.

Maruti Suzuki is offering the new Brezza in four variants – the base LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. The prices of the car start at Rs 7.99 lakh for the LXI MT and go up to Rs 13.96 lakh for the ZXI Dual Tone AT. Both prices are ex-showroom.
