2023 Kia EV6 Bookings to Open in India from April 15, Check Prices Here

Kia India has officially announced that customer bookings for the 2023 EV6 will commence in the Indian market from April 15 this year. Based on Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) of Hyundai Group, the EV6 is available in two variants - GT Line and GT Line AWD (all-wheel drive). The prices of the electric SUV now range between Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh, since the 2023 version received its first price hike and got dearer by Rs 1 lakh in January 2023. Prices are ex-showroom. To give you a little background, the Kia EV6 was introduced in June last year at a starting price of Rs 59.95 lakh, and its first lot was fully booked then. Kia had initially planned to deliver only 100 units of the electric SUV, but has managed to sell around 432 units since its launch, as stated by the carmaker.

Now, the carmaker will be opening the bookings of the second lot of the EV6 in the country on April 15. Kia has plans to expand its EV dealership network to 60 outlets across 44 cities in the home market.

2023 Kia EV6: Styling & Dimensions

Style-wise, the Kia EV6 appears youthful and modern with a short nose and strong character lines. It gets cleaner design elements and smooth curves. It also sports a full-width LED light bar at the back. 

Dimensionally, the electric vehicle measures 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,570mm in height. It receives a wheelbase of 2,900mm. 

2023 Kia EV6: Powertrain, Battery

The 2023 Kia EV6 comes equipped with a battery pack and two motor options. It gets a 77.4kWh battery and offers an ARAI-certified driving range of up to 708 kilometre. The car's single-motor RWD setup produces a 229bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque, while its dual-motor AWD setup puts out about 325bhp of power and 605Nm of torque.

2023 Kia EV6: Features, Colours

On the feature front, the 2023 Kia EV6 is equipped with dual 12.3-inch curved displays that include a touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, it comes with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) functionalities and a 14-speaker Meridian sound system. The electric SUV is offered in five different colours - Aurora Black Pearl, Snow White Pearl, Yacht Blue, Runway Red, and Moonscape.
