Polaris, an American automotive manufacturer, has recently launched the RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate in the Indian market. The RZR Pro 4 Ultimate is a dedicated off-road vehicle meant for private use. It is available for purchase at a price of Rs 89.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-terrain vehicle is not road-worthy and therefore cannot be used on Indian roads as of now. Its off-roading credentials include a long wheelbase, wide stance, and heavy-duty suspension, thereby making it fit to go across any terrain. Powering the RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate is a 2.0-litre DOHC petrol engine that is rated at 222bhp, besides coming with a host of features. For those unaware, the Polaris RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate was introduced at Polaris India's dealership in Chennai.
The feature list of the RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate includes LED lighting, a race-inspired steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, colour-matched bucket seats with 4-way adjustability and retractable click-6 harnesses, factory-installed ride command plus, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, built-in GPS, Bluetooth & USB smartphone connectivity, and other things.

The RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate uses a 2.0-litre, DOHC inline-four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out around 222bhp of maximum power that is sent to all four wheels using the company's 'Pro Performance True' 4WD lock system. The all-terrain vehicle offers a ground clearance of 406mm (16 inches), enabling the off-roader to climb over higher obstacles. It has a payload capacity of up to 336 kilograms and a fuel storage capacity of about 46.56 litres.

In terms of hardware, the RZR Pro R4 Ultimate comes equipped with a special dual A-arm front suspension along with a three-piece stabiliser bar, which offers wheel travel of 686mm. While the rear end gets a boxed trailing arm with toe link, high-clearance radius rods, and a 3-piece stabiliser bar, offering wheel travel of 737mm. Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes on all four corners.
The 2023 Polaris RZR Pro R 4 Ultimate is an all-terrain four-wheeler that is not road-legal and is meant for use in private spaces. It is available at a price tag of Rs 89.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
