2024 Skoda Octavia Official Design Sketches Revealed Ahead of Global Debut on February 14

Following a series of teasers, Skoda has now issued official design sketches of the new Octavia, giving us a clear idea of what it will look like. Furthermore, the carmaker has declared that February 14 will mark the official worldwide premiere of the redesigned sedan. On an international scale, the refreshed version will continue to be offered in the Sportline and RS trims. Though there's no official word, it's unlikely that the regular Octavia would be brought back to India. However, its RS version might go on sale here. If it does, the price tag of the Octavia RS may exceed Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). Now that the first official design sketches are available, let's look at the new details of the sedan in depth.

2024 Skoda Octavia: What's Changed Cosmetically?

The front part of the model has undergone a lot of aesthetic enhancements. These comprise a bolder bumper, crisper LED headlights, and a modified grille. It also has brand-new boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. From the side, the car remains essentially unchanged, although a new set of alloy wheels is an interesting addition. When it comes to the back profile, the car includes a new bumper with angular creases and cuts. The lighting pattern has altered even though the taillights keep the same design. There aren't any interior design sketches yet. But, you can anticipate the updated model to come with new materials and paint jobs in addition to certain feature enhancements.

In addition, the Octavia vRS's design sketch has also been made public by the automaker. Dynamic alloy wheels, a distinctive bumper with huge, muscular air vents, and a bold rear bumper are a few of the design highlights of the performance version.

Many engine options, such as a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, a 2-litre turbo-petrol, and a 2-litre diesel, as well as, a 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid (for the RS variant), will probably be available for the Octavia in the global market. It is unlikely that the regular Octavia will be sold in India. However, Skoda might introduce the model's RS variant to India by the year's second quarter. As the Skoda Octavia RS will be fully imported, we can assume its ex-showroom pricing to go beyond Rs 40 lakh.
