Audi A6 TFSI launched at Rs 45.9 lakh

Audi has launched the A6 35 TFSI at a price tag of Rs 45.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi and Mumbai).

The new A6 packs a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine that is good enough for 190 bhp. Audi claims the new motor is 5% more powerful and 12.7% more fuel efficient than the one used in the outgoing model.

“Embodying our philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’, and following the recent successful introduction of the new Audi A6 Matrix, the new Audi A6 35 TFSI takes our success in the executive sedan segment a notch higher. The new 1.8 L turbocharged engine which is 200cc smaller than the outgoing engine offers a unique combination of power and also efficiency at the same time,’’ said Joe King, Head, Audi India.

“With the new 1.8 L TFSI engine, the fuel efficiency of the Audi A6 35 TFSI is increased by 12.7% and the power is further increased by 5%. The car which features LED headlights, rear lights with dynamic turn indicators, restyled bumpers and Audi Singleframe grill, is a head turner from every angle. I am confident that with this latest offering, we will increase the number of delighted Audi customers,” he added.

Inside, the Audi A6 TFSI comes with Milano Leather and Fine Grain Ash Natural Brown Inlays, while electrically adjustable front seats also come as standard.

Another useful feature in the cabin of the new A6 is its Next Generation Modular infotainment system that accepts voice inputs.
