Audi Q2 Launched at Rs. 34.99 lakh

The Audi Q2 compact luxury SUV has been launched in India with 5 variants on offer, prices range from Rs. 34.99 lakh to Rs. 48.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Audi has finally entered the compact luxury crossover SUV segment in India with the launch of its Q2. The Audi Q2 will go head to head against the BMW X1 and Volvo XC40 in India. Ever since the launch of the first-generation BMW X1 in the decade gone by, it has done fairly well in India and has been the undisputed leader of its segment. While Mercedes-Benz and Volvo at a later stage have dabbled in the segment, the X1 (especially in its second-generation avatar) has proven that with the right product, success is very much possible within this segment in India.

The Q2 then will bank on Audi’s establishment in India to drive in customers. The Audi Q2 for India is being offered with the company’s 2.0-litre, four cylinder, TFSI turbo petrol engine that’s good for 187bhp and 320Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via Audi’s quattro four-wheel drive system via a 7-speed S-Tronic automatic gearbox. This gives the Q2 sprightly performance with a 0-100km/h time of 6.5 seconds.

Audi is selling the Q2 in India with a choice of 5 variants on offer, namely - Standard, Premium, Premium Plus I, Premium Plus II and Technology. Some of the equipment highlights for the top-end variants in the India spec cars include ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, rear view camera, virtual cockpit, etc.

To boost buyer confidence, Audi India is offering a complimentary 'Peace of Mind' offer for the Q2 by providing complimentary 5 year Service Package with 2+3 years Extended Warranty and 2+3 years Road Side Assistance.
