Mechanically, it will share a 1.5-litre petrol engine with the Ertiga, Ciaz, and most recent Brezza. The Baleno-based crossover SUV finally debuted in India as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The Fronx's powertrains feature the 1-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine's comeback. It has been modified with mild-hybrid technology and will be available with a six-speed automatic transmission. In terms of design, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx has taken cues from the existing Grand Vitara and the Baleno. It sports a revamped mesh grille with a chrome strip, eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, a sizable bumper, and headlights above the bumper. The model's tail lamp cluster is similar to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. With the exception of the Grand Vitara's burgundy-and-black upholstery pattern, the inside of the car mirrors that of the current-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The bookings of the model have also started and it will go on sale in April 2023.
