Auto Expo 2023: Tata Motors, the Indian auto manufacturer, is preparing to showcase a range of SUVs and EVs at the Expo. The firm is also probably going to showcase the updated models of its popular SUVs, like the Harrier and the Safari. The test mules of the 2023 Tata Safari and the updated Harrier have already been sighted a few times on Indian roads. While the Safari facelift will go on sale before the end of this year, the new Tata Harrier is anticipated to launch around mid-2023. Both SUVs will get interior enhancements, cosmetic design tweaks, and cutting-edge technology. The most significant improvement will be the inclusion of the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).
A few of the features that the ADAS system will provide are autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, automated high beams, collision mitigation system, driver monitoring system, and others. Tread pressure monitoring systems and electronic stability control (ESC) are standard on both SUVs. Additionally, the two SUVs will include 360-degree cameras, which should make parking and driving in India much easier.

A 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine with a capacity for 350Nm of torque and 168bhp of maximum power would drive both SUVs. There will be a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission available. A new petrol turbocharged engine is also being developed by Tata Motors; it will launch in the Harrier SUV. However, the diesel engine option will still be available for the updated versions.
The 2023 Tata Safari & Harrier facelift will have new design elements in terms of appearance. It is anticipated to get a new headlight arrangement along with a reworked front fascia that includes a new front grille and air dam with horizontal slats and integrated radar. Additionally, a new set of alloy wheels for the SUV is expected.

The cabin of the 2023 Tata Safari & Harrier facelift will be completely redesigned. With the new colour scheme, the dashboard layout is probably going to stay the same. A larger touchscreen infotainment system with voice navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity will dominate the centre console. Both SUVs will include over-the-air (OTA) updates in addition to connected car technology. The SUVs will still offer features like a motorised driver's seat, automated climate control, leatherette seating, and a panoramic sunroof.
