Ford to launch EcoSport on June 26

The wait is finally over. Ford has announced that it will launch its new compact crossover - EcoSport - on the 26th of June. After months of promotion, teasers, spy shots, advertising gimmicks and the media drive, Ford will finally be revealing the price of this sub-4 meter crossover.

We mentioned a couple of days back that, Ford was rolling out the EcoSport from its Chennai plant and distributing it to its dealerships across the country. Chennai is one among the five locations globally where the EcoSport will be produced and Ford has already made a significant Rs.830 crore investment in this plant.

Ford India is banking heavily on EcoSport (with regards to sales) and hopes that surpasses their expectations. In short, its wants what the Figo or the Model T did for them - revive them from the lull. Ford has already opened bookings for the EcoSport at their dealerships from the 14th of June and once the price is announced the, the compact crossover will be ready for delivery.
