New Ford Endeavour Sport Launched

The changes that distinguish it from the standard trim include smoked headlamps, black front grille, a new set of alloy wheels, black roof rails, and Sport decals. The Endeavour Sport is priced at Rs 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom pan India).

Just last week, Ford dropped a teaser image of a marginally refashioned iteration of its flagship SUV. Christened as the Endeavour Sport, it gets a touch up of black details in place of the chrome elements all around. At the front, the Endeavour Sport has been fitted with black smoked headlamps. Skid plates at the front that extend as fog lamp surrounds have also been given a black treatment. Replacing the three-slat chrome grille on the standard Endeavour, this Sport version gets a mesh pattern that has been washed in black as well. Along the sides, it gets a new design for the alloy wheels, which have been finished in gloss black paint. The SUV also gets Sport decals on the doors and on the tailgate. The Endeavour Sport sits at the top in the SUV’s variant range and is priced at Rs 35.10 lakh – Rs 65,000 more than the Titanium+ 4x4 variant. The Endeavour Sport is now on sale in three colour options – absolute black, diffused silver, and diamond white.

Aside from the changes to the exterior, everything else about the car remains largely unchanged. The interior hasn’t been altered and continues with the same dual-tone black and beige theme. Under the hood, the Endeavour Sport continues with the same 2.0-litre diesel motor, which develops 168bhp and 420Nm. The engine comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Ford Endeavour Sport goes against the Toyota Fortuner TRD, which is priced at Rs 36.88 lakh. The Ford's offering will also lock horns with the likes of the Mahindra Alturas.
