While the auto industry has, at large, seen a positive trend when we look at the wholesale sales numbers from October 2025, Hyundai has registered a 3.2% fall in domestic sales. The carmaker’s exports rose by 1,592 from 14,510 units in October 2024, resulting in a net flat growth. Hyundai India sold a total of 69,894 cars and SUVs last month, including both domestic and international sales.
The Creta and Venue, which happen to be the only products from the Japanese carmaker that have been reporting healthy sales numbers, clocked a combined sales of 30,119 units.

Hyundai has unveiled the next-generation Venue sub-compact SUV, and will reveal the prices for the same today. The updated model features significant styling changes on the outside as well as the inside. It also adds the option of an automatic gearbox with the diesel engine, which wasn’t offered on the Venue earlier.

The automaker plans to launch a total of 26 new cars and SUVs in the Indian market over the next five years, including new models, generational changes, and facelifts. Out of these 26 models, eight are said to be hybrid, though the exact cars that will be launched here are yet to be disclosed. We expect hybrid powertrains with the next-gen Creta, and the new Palisade, which is Hyundai’s flagship SUV globally, and is likely to be launched here.
