Hyundai Exter CNG Gets new EX Base Variant, Launched in India at Rs 7.50 Lakh

The CNG variant of the Hyundai Exter uses a 1.2-litre Kappa engine, producing 67.6bhp and 95Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai India has launched a new EX variant in its EXTER Hy-CNG Duo lineup, priced at Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model offers more choices in the compact SUV segment and aims to reach more customers. The EX variant is designed for Gen MZ buyers. It offers a mix of comfort, useful features, and a fuel-efficient bi-fuel (Hy-CNG) system. This makes it a good option for young drivers looking for an eco-friendly sub compact SUV. Customers can pre-book the EXTER Hy-CNG EX variant at Hyundai's authorised dealerships across India.

Hyundai Exter: Features and Engine

The new Hyundai Exter HyCNG Duo EX variant comes with a host of safety features. It comes with six airbags as standard and a 4.2-inch colour TFT MID digital cluster for a modern driving feel. Key features include H-LED taillamps, a height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, and automatic ORVMs with turn indicators. It also gets bold side cladding and roof rails.

Powering the Exter EX is a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol-HyCNG Duo engine that produces 81bhp and 113Nm torque. The CNG variant makes 67.6bhp and 95Nm of torque. This bi-fuel system supports both petrol and CNG, giving better mileage and lower emissions.
