In addition to a new Verna variant, Hyundai has rolled out a Wired to Wireless Adapter for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across seven models, including the Exter and the Alcazar.

Hyundai is on a steady path to enhance its model lineup in India, aiming to boost the market appeal of its vehicles. After introducing the Corporate Edition of the diesel-powered Alcazar and adding a 7-speed DCT option to the Prestige Petrol variant, the company has now expanded the Verna lineup with a new SX+ variant. The Verna SX+ comes with manual and iVT transmission options. It is priced at Rs 13.79 lakh for the 1.5 MPi MT and Rs 15.04 lakh for the 1.5 MPi iVT (both ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna is equipped with two petrol engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit generating 113bhp and 143.8Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or IVT; and a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering 157bhp and 253Nm, available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT for superior performance.

The newly launched Verna SX+ brings a host of features to the table, including a Bose 8-speaker audio setup, leather seats, and front seats that are ventilated and heated. It also comes with front parking sensors and bright LED headlamps, among other standout features.
Alongside a new Verna variant, Hyundai introduced a Wired to Wireless Adapter, bringing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to seven popular models, including the Exter, the Grand i10 Nios, the Venue, Venue N Line, the Verna, the Aura, and the Alcazar. With the new Wired to Wireless Adapter, Hyundai is making daily commutes both easier and smarter.

Drivers can now wirelessly connect their smartphones to the infotainment system, letting them use apps like Google Maps and Spotify without the need for cables.
