Both the Jeep Compass and the Meridian Trail Editions continue to use a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm. The Compass Longitude (O) is front-wheel drive only, without a 4x4 option, while the Meridian Limited (O) offers both front-wheel and all-wheel drive. It's worth noting that Jeep pairs the AWD system exclusively with the 9-speed automatic transmission, while both models also offer a 6-speed manual gearbox for FWD variants.
