Jeep Meridian Track Edition Launched in India at Rs 35.95 Lakh

Jeep has launched a new special edition of the Meridian SUV, called the Track Edition, with prices starting at Rs 35.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited-run model commands a premium of Rs 43,000 over the Overland trim it is based on. Moreover, buyers will need to shell out Rs 9,200 extra for the mandatory AXS package, on top of the ex-showroom price. While the special edition gets exclusive cosmetic upgrades, it retains the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm. A 9-speed automatic transmission comes as standard, and the SUV is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.

Jeep Meridian Track Edition: What's New?

The Track Edition sets itself apart with unique styling elements, like Piano Black accents on the grille, badges, and exterior mouldings, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a signature Track Edition hood decal. Inside, the limited-run Jeep Meridian Track Edition benefits from the 140mm sliding second-row seats, similar to the updated standard version.

The familiar dual-tone Tupelo cabin with suede inserts is enhanced by contrast stitching and quilted detailing on the seats. Other highlights include Dark Espresso accents and Piano Black bezels, a Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel with precision stitching and exclusive Track Edition appliqués across the cabin and floor mats.
