Kia India closed December 2025 with its strongest monthly performance, posting domestic wholesales of 18,659 units. That figure marks a 105 per cent jump over 8,957 units sold in December 2024. For the full calendar year, Kia recorded wholesales of 280,286 units. These numbers include only dispatches to dealerships and exclude exports. December stood out as Kia’s best-ever month, while quarterly data showed steady gains from January through December. At the model level, the Kia Sonet crossed the 100,000-unit sales mark in 2025 for the second year in a row. The Kia Seltos supported volumes with steady demand across variants.

The Carens range, including Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV, added numbers after mid-year updates. Together, these models formed the bulk of dispatches, with Sonet leading, followed by Seltos and then the Carens line-up.

Kia’s wider reach also helped. In 2025, the network grew to 821 touchpoints across 369 cities. This followed the launch of Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV, along with updates to Seltos, Carens and Sonet. Focus stayed on sales and service, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 markets. New dealerships improved access, while added service centres supported higher volumes.
Kia recorded growth from the first quarter, with each quarter improving. Festive demand in October and November carried into December, which became the highest-volume month. The broader shift towards compact and mid-size SUVs worked in Kia’s favour.
Looking ahead, Kia announced prices for the second-generation Seltos on 2 January 2026. The first-generation model crossed 5.8 lakh units in India and 1.8 million globally. Production scaling at Anantapur backs demand, with the network ready for quick deliveries.
