Kia has launched the special X-Line edition of the Sonet compact SUV in India with prices starting at Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The car comes with a host of cosmetic updates on the outside as well as inside. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Just as Kia Sonet completes two years in India, the company has now launched the X-Line variant for the car.

Kia India has launched the Sonet X-Line in India with prices starting at Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The X-Line variant is placed above the top-rung GTX+ and comes with a host of cosmetic changes including an exclusive Matte Graphite paint option, Splendid Sage dual-tone interior theme and crystal-cut alloy wheels with black high gloss. 

Kia Sonet X-Line Engine Options

Interested buyers can book the car across all of the company’s showrooms across the country as well as the brand’s official website. The car is offered in a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine with the seven-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine with six-speed automatic transmission. 

Kia Sonet X-Line Cosmetic Changes

The car comes with several exclusive bits over the regular GT Line. In terms of design, it gets a redesigned version of the tiger nose grille that now comes with a black high gloss treatment along with the rear skid plates that now feature dark hyper metal accents. In addition to that, it also gets a piano black front skid plate with dark hyper metal accents, dark chrome fog lamp garnish, ORVM with LED turn signal and Piano Black dual muffler design. 

On the inside, the car comes with leatherette sports seats with orange stitching and an X-Line logo, leatherette wrapped D-cut steering wheel, also with orange stitching and lastly a premium black headliner. 

The Sonet has been one of the best-selling models for Kia with sales of over 1.5 lakh units and an almost `15% market share in the compact SUV segment. The X-Line now provides that extra sporty appeal for those who were looking for it.
