Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has revealed the Sadair's Spear, a track-focused hypercar based on the Jesko Attack. It will have only 30 units made, and it is road-legal but designed to perform on the race track. The name of the model is inspired by the founder of the company, Christian von Koenigsegg's father, Jesko, who had a horse named Sadair's Spear. With this car, Koenigsegg aims to elevate performance levels in the hypercar segment.

Christian von Koenigsegg states: 'Sadair's Spear represents a natural progression for Koenigsegg-an impeccable balance of raw power, refined aerodynamics, and extraordinary road presence. This car is destined to set records. Achieving such track dominance in a fully road-legal vehicle is nothing short of remarkable.'
The Sadair's Spear has a sharp focus on aerodynamics. It boasts an active double-blade rear wing, underfloor strakes, and wheel arch louvres to provide high-speed downforce.

It is equipped with bigger canards, updated hood vents, and a Gurney flap-lined vent combined with the Triplex damper system to provide added stability. The rear scoops and cooling systems have been optimised to provide maximum performance under harsh track conditions.
The cabin reflects Koenigsegg's mission of pure performance. It sheds 35 kg through the adoption of light carbon fibre, the removal of unnecessary insulation, and the aerodynamic streamlining of design.

Optional 6-point harnesses on racing seats and a SmartCluster digital readout on the steering wheel leave the focus squarely on the driver. There are, however, subtle touches for normal usage, including wireless charging and USB ports, and the company's Autoskin door system.
The car is powered by a twin-turbo V8. It is coupled with Koenigsegg's flywheel-less Light Speed Transmission, which shifts gears at 46,000 rpm/s. This gives gear changes as quick as lightning and extremely high responsiveness. The engine produces 1282bhp on regular fuel, and that goes up to 1,603bhp on E85 ethanol.

According to Koenigsegg, the Sadair's Spear lapped 1.1 seconds faster than the Jesko Attack in testing at Gotland Ring. With its Active Ride Height, suspension sorted, and fast-reacting steering, the car is configured to corner and run down straights. With only 30 to construct, it's a collector's item in the years to come.
