Land Rover has launched the Defender 110 Trophy Edition in India, priced at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition pays tribute to the Classic Trophy Edition vehicles that were part of the iconic Camel Trophy off-road challenge. Available only in the 110 body style, the new Trophy Edition comes with a diesel automatic powertrain and is aimed at enthusiasts who value both off-road capability and heritage. The SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six twin-turbo diesel engine delivering 345bhp and 700Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Land Rover claims that the Defender 110 Trophy Edition can reach 100km/h from standstill in 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 191km/h, combining modern performance with rugged capability.
The design of the Defender 110 Trophy Edition draws heavily from its heritage. It is offered in two exclusive colour options: Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green. Both options feature contrasting black finishes on the roof, bonnet, front and rear scuff plates, side cladding, and wheel arches. Additionally, bespoke Trophy Edition decals are placed on the bonnet and C-pillar.

The Trophy Edition rides on 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels that can be fitted with all-season or all-terrain tyres depending on the buyer's preference. Land Rover also offers a range of optional accessories tailored for off-roading, including a heavy-duty roof rack, deployable black side ladder, side panniers, snorkel, and a matte protective film. These options allow customers to personalise their vehicle for enhanced capability or protection.
The Defender 110 Trophy Edition features Ebony Windsor leather upholstery with illuminated sill plates bearing the Trophy insignia. The dashboard crossbeam is painted in the exterior colour, with laser-etched endcaps also displaying Trophy branding. This interior combines the Defender’s familiar blend of functionality and comfort with distinct details that align with the exclusive exterior design.

The new Trophy Edition stands as a modern interpretation of Land Rover’s rich off-road history, especially recalling the Camel Trophy events held between 1980 and 2000. Known as the ‘Olympics of 4x4’, those competitions tested vehicles in some of the world’s harshest environments.
