Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition Launched in India at Rs 69.70 Lakh

Lexus has launched a special edition of the ES 300h sedan in India to deliver more luxury and quality to its clients. Called the Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition, the model, as the name implies, is based on the top-of-the-line variant of the sedan, the Luxury. At Rs 69.70 lakh (ex-showroom), its price is comparable to the donor model. The new Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition stands out with an illuminated scuff plate, a new silver grille, puddle lamps with Lexus logo projection, a rear lamp chrome garnish, and a rear-seat pillow. It is available for purchase at all Lexus Guest Experience Centres.

For the uninitiated, the ES 300h has been the best-selling model of Lexus in India. According to the Japanese automaker, the sedan accounted for about 55% of the total sales in India during the first half of 2024. Here are some more details on the Lexus ES 300h.

Lexus ES 300h: Powertrain

The ES 300h produces a combined output of 215bhp with a potent, self-charging electric motor and a 2.5-litre direct injection engine. The engine is coupled to a CVT transmission, which sends power to the front wheels. The sedan can go from 0 to 100km/h in just 8.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 180km/h. Moreover, it can also be operated entirely on electric power for shorter distances and at slower speeds.

Lexus ES 300h: Features

The Lexus ES 300h has an attractive appearance and excellent aerodynamics. It is equipped with ultra-compact LED headlamps, L-shaped daytime running lights, and a spindle-designed grille. Inside, the sedan boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, cruise control, a heads-up display, three-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, front ventilated seats, leather-wrapped steering, and active noise control function. The ES also includes a new voice recognition technology and a 'profile function' that allows users to configure multimedia settings.
