This limited-run Lotus blends the golden era of racing with modern technology, showcasing the brand’s commitment to celebrating its racing heritage while delivering a contemporary driving experience.
The design of this limited edition Lotus sports car draws inspiration from the iconic Lotus Type 38, the car Jim Clark drove to victory at the 1965 Indianapolis 500. Finished in a green body with a yellow stripe, the car’s visual appeal is enhanced by several distinctive touches.
The Emira Clark Edition features a hand-painted yellow pinstripe, yellow exhaust tips, and a blue anodised fuel cap. These elements are carefully designed to mirror the classic race car, ensuring that the model is both visually striking and historically accurate.
Inside, the cabin of the Jim Clark tribute car showcases a unique design. The driver’s seat is upholstered in red leather and Alcantara, mirroring Clark’s original seat setup, while the passenger seat is finished in black.
The wooden gear knob and individually numbered door sills add to the interior’s charm, seamlessly blending 1960s classic motorsport style with modern luxury.
Under the bonnet, the Lotus Emira Clark Edition is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine producing 395 horsepower. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the car offers an engaging and thrilling drive. This setup honours the racing machines Jim Clark once drove, appealing to purists who value traditional manual gearboxes and raw performance.
