Mahindra has upgraded its Pack Two range for the XEV 9e and BE 6 electric SUVs by introducing a higher-capacity 79kWh battery option alongside the standard 59kWh unit. This update is aimed at extending driving range while keeping pricing relatively accessible. The BE 6 with the larger battery is priced at Rs 23.50 lakh, and the XEV 9e at Rs 26.50 lakh (ex-showroom). With the 79kWh pack, the BE 6 offers a range of up to 682 km on a single charge, while the XEV 9e delivers about 656 km. Both models support ultra-fast 175kW DC charging, enabling a 20–80% top-up in just 20 minutes. Notable features include a panoramic sunroof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, and Level 2 ADAS. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of July.

Mahindra claims the BE 6 can cover up to 535 km on a full charge when using the 59kWh battery, while the XEV 9e stretches that figure slightly to 542 km with the same setup. The entry-level battery setup delivers 230bhp, but opting for the larger 79kWh unit bumps output to 285bhp. Both SUVs maintain a steady torque figure of 380Nm, regardless of the battery. For now, the manufacturer will only offer a rear-wheel-drive configuration.

For added versatility, the EVs come with three drive modes: Range, Everyday, and Race. Moreover, they also offer Boost functionality and One-Pedal Drive to tailor performance and efficiency to driving conditions.
The BE 6 is equipped with rear air-conditioning vents, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, twin 12.3-inch displays, and Level 2 ADAS.
