Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition Launched in India at Rs 24.24 Lakh, Gets Matte Red Paint Finish

The new Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition, based on the top-spec AX7 L version, has a striking matte red paint scheme with multiple blacked-out elements.

Mahindra has launched the new XUV700 Blaze Edition in India, based on the SUV's top-spec AX7 L variant. The special edition costs Rs 24.24 lakh (starting, ex-showroom), which is about Rs 25,000 higher than the model on which it is based. It is available with petrol and diesel engine options, exclusively in front-wheel drive, and a seven-seat configuration. Outside, the Blaze edition has a matte red finish that contrasts with a black roof, grille, wheels, and ORVMs. Its front doors feature a 'Blaze' emblem. Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition: Interior and Features

The XUV700 Blaze Edition's interior is all black, with red highlights on the centre console and AC vents. The seats also have red stitching, which adds to the distinctive look. 

The special version retains the features offered in the top-spec AX7 L variant, including a wireless phone charger, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, and ADAS for safety. 

Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition: Powertrain

The Blaze Edition's engine options comprise a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (197bhp/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel (182.4bhp/420Nm, and 450Nm with AT). The petrol-powered XUV700 Blaze Edition only comes with an automatic transmission, while the diesel version is available with manual and automatic gearbox options. It's essential to note that all of these units only drive the front wheels. The AX7L model's all-wheel drive option is currently not available.

-Mahindra Blaze Edition (Diesel MT 7-seater) - Rs 24.24 lakh

-Mahindra Blaze Edition (Petrol AT 7-seater) - Rs 25.54 lakh
