Maruti Ciaz surpasses Hyundai Verna to become No.2 sedan in India

Eight months after its launch, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has surpassed Hyundai Verna to become the second highest-selling sedan in India.

Ciaz has received positive reviews from the critics, with sales justifying the assessment from the media. Over 40,000 buyers have chosen Ciaz, leaving Hyundai Verna a distant third with roughly half the customers.

Meanwhile, Honda City continues to dominate the charts, with over 62,000 units sold between the same period (September 2014 - May 2015).

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes in both petrol and diesel versions, with a starting price tag of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
