Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Launched in India; Specs, Features & Variants Explained

Maruti Suzuki recently launched the all-new Brezza CNG in India. The Brezza CNG is available in four trim levels: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi dual-tone. The new model's prices range from Rs 9.14 lakh for the LXi S-CNG variant to Rs 12.05 lakh for the top-spec ZXi dual-tone unit. The VXi and ZXi variants, on the other hand, cost Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh, respectively. Prices are all ex-showroom. Bookings for the new car have already begun. Interested buyers can reserve the compact SUV's CNG version by visiting their nearest Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership. The carmaker currently offers 14 models with CNG options, including the new Brezza CNG. Let's take a closer look at each variant and the features that come with them.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Variants Explained

The base model of the car, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG LXi costs Rs 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom) and includes a halogen projector headlamp, dual front airbags, 16-inch steel wheels, rear parking sensors, hill-hold assist, rear AC vents, and an integrated spoiler.

The VXi variant adds a seven-inch display for a smart play infotainment system with four speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, climate control, a rear defogger, and power mirrors to the features of the LXi variant.

The ZXi trim of the Brezza CNG is the top-of-the-line model and includes dual-tone interiors, LED projector headlamps, an Arkamy sound system, a reverse camera, OTA updates, 60:40 split folding rear seats, and a rear wiper. It lacks features found in the ZXi+ petrol counterpart, such as the HUD, cooled glovebox, dual-tone alloy wheels, and ambient lighting.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Features

The top-spec ZXi version of the Brezza S-CNG comes with a number of features, including an electric sunroof, a 7.0-inch Smartplay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology, among others. This compact SUV is equipped with a variety of safety features, such as a hill hold assist, an electronic stability program, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors with a rear parking camera, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Exterior Design and Colour Options

In terms of design, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is identical to its ICE-powered counterparts. However, the addition of a factory-fitted CNG tank has reduced boot space. The car bears the S-CNG badge, as do the other Maruti Suzuki CNG vehicles.

Five colour options are offered for the Brezza CNG LXi: Splendid Silver, Sizzling Red, Exuberant Blue, Pearl Arctic White, and Magma Grey. On the other hand, six mono-tone paint options are available for the Brezza CNG VXi: Magma Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red, Exuberant Blue, and Brave Khaki. The Brezza CNG ZXi is available from Maruti Suzuki in three dual-tone and five mono-tone colour options, namely, Pearl Midnight Black, Splendid Silver, Exuberant Blue, Pearl Arctic White, and Magma Grey.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Powertrain Details

A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) bi-fuel petrol engine drives the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG. In the CNG mode, this motor produces 86.7bhp of maximum power with a peak torque of 121.5Nm, and in the petrol mode, it produces a maximum output of 99.2bhp with a torque of 136Nm. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox is available with the engine, which is rated to deliver a mileage of 25.51km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG: Prices

Maruti Suzuki offers four variants of the Brezza S-CNG: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi dual-tone. Prices begin at Rs 9.14 lakh and go up to Rs 12.05 lakh. In contrast, the petrol-only Brezza variants range in price from Rs 8.19 lakh to Rs 14.04 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
