Maruti Suzuki has launched a special-edition version of the Wagon R for the Indian market. It is called the Waltz and starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.65 lakh. Typical for a special edition, the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz Limited Edition brings exterior and interior enhancements as well as additional features. Bookings for the Limited Edition model are open. Interested buyers can make reservations by visiting their nearest dealership.
At its price point, the Waltz is around Rs 10,000 more expensive than the standard LXi variant. It will be offered in limited numbers and across all 3 trim levels: LXi, VXi, and ZXi. As opposed to the standard Wagon R, the Wagon R Waltz Limited Edition has a chrome grille in the front, fog lamps, fog lamp garnish, side skirts, wheel arch cladding, body side moulding, and bumper protectors. Other exterior highlights include reflective halogen headlamps, high-mounted stop lamps, a faux silver skid plate, and 14-inch steel wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz: Interior, Features
On the inside, the Wagon R Waltz offers a new interior styling kit with designer floor mats and seat covers. Features-wise, the vehicle comes with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a security system, and a reverse parking camera. For safety, it is equipped with dual airbags, traction control, hill hold assist, and ABS with EBD.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz: Powertrain
The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Waltz gets a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. The former makes 66bhp and 89Nm of torque, while the latter churns out 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional 5-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is also available with a CNG powertrain.
The Wagon R continues to maintain its position as the brand's bestseller, with Maruti Suzuki selling over 32.5 lakh units of the vehicle since its debut in 1999. The Wagon R rivals the Tata Tiago, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and several other models in India.
